A know a couple people posted about these guys, Kid Theodore, yesterday but they also sent me an e-mail about their music. I fell in love with the songs they sent. Basically, the handclaps. I am a sucker for handclaps in just about any form. "Lonely Angel" sounds like Britt Daniel fronting Wilco playing Belle and Sebastian or something. I don't know, it's ridiculously amazing and this may be why: "Each band member comes from different musical backgrounds and influences. Because of this, it is hard to put a finger on exactly what Kid Theodore sounds like. But if you could mix early Tom Waits with the Kinks, or Belle and Sebastian with Johnny Cash..."

I am super blessed because they're playing with Voxtrot when they come through Salt Lake City at Kilby Court! Talk about amazing.
