I don't know why Panic! hasn't hit it off with indie kids. Sufjanesque long song titles, guitars? C'mon.

oh man, you know all those panic! kids will hate bloc party. or, has bloc party now circulated down to the junior high school demographic? my twelve year old cousin listens to panic! and arctic monkeys. so maybe...
thanks for the link. that is my summer jam too: klaxons! at the rave
I dunno but I think some bloc party could be good for the kids y'know. get them falling off the fall out boy wagon (or is it on?)
I think it's actually good, because you'll get the kids that will really like Bloc Party to start checking out their albums and then that may be the gateway drug the kids need to get out of the world of emo/pop-punk, or at least to visit good music once and a while!
yeah I think it'll be a good thing for them young punk whipper snappers too!
that particular "sufjanesque long song title" was stolen from a chuck palahniuk novel. "lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off. but it's better if you do" is from the play 'closer' by patrick marber (or, more likely, the movie, in which that line is spoken by a stripper played by natalie portman). though i doubt the band's fans understand the references, it's still irritating.
