Just made it back home from Portland. Such a great weekend! Sleater-Kinney's final two shows were stellar, and I'm definitely sad to have had to say goodbye to those wonderful ladies! If you didn't hear (I haven't read any other sites about the shows), The Thermals opened both nights, and on the second night, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam performed two songs before Sleater-Kinney's set. One of the songs was performed with Janet Weiss! What a treat to see that happen.Portland was fantastic! Such a community they have going on up there. Didn't get to see as much of the city as I was hoping but what I did see had me wanting more, so I guess that's good. Hope to be getting back into regular posting mode.. Tried not to take too many pics at the show because 1) I suck and 2) I wanted to really enjoy the show.

You were right up there! Best pic I've seen of the gigs yet. So what did you do in PDX? Follow any advice in the previous post's comment section?
