I have missed these guys. The Duke Spirit don't make standard indie rock, maybe standard british indie rock.

A pre-cursor to the new album due early next year, their new ep Ex-Voto will be released on Rough Trade October 22nd.

Radiohead Rarities

Everyone's in a tizzy about the new Radiohead album In Rainbows. I have to admit the vinyl looks purdy.

Skirting the stores, the "pay what you want" method will definitely work for them. They are an established band with a HUGE fan base. The quality of their work is consistent, and even $5 is probably more than they'd usually make on a release thru retailers.

I will have to put these rarities in my itunes rotation to get in the mood.
