Summer Burns

Stream the new ColdSnooze album Ex 'n' Why? over here at Scenestars. Or you could just wait until X&Y comes out Next Tuesday, along with Get Behind Me Satan and Anniemal.

In other music news, you New Yorkers will be able to catch Spoon, Mates of State, VHS or Beta, The Dears, and Dungen at Siren Music Festival. More to be announced, but it will still be free!

And for the West Coast Kids, we have a nice festival, Street Scene in San Diego, where The Killers, Pixies, The White Stripes, Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, Flaming Lips, Death Cab for Cutie, and Hot Hot Heat will all try to assuage your summer burns for two days.

Us Texans, I think we'll stick with ol' reliable Austin City Limits.

I was not here yesterday because I was out amusing myself at 6 Flags Over Texas, where some people need to realize when to keep a shirt on. In case you're not Texan, you can learn more about these mythical six flags here.

So since I was riding rollercoasters and burning my skin, I'll give you some mp3s as a treat.
